If I goto this festival, my train on the Friday evening gets to Ockley at 6:30. About what time will the shuttle buses be to the site around this time? Also as I will be going back on Sunday evening I will have to get the train from Three Bridges stations. What times on the Sunday evening will the shuttle buses be running to Three Bridges?

    Cheers.

If any moderators see this I'm wondering what time the shuttle bus starts on the Friday?

Yes, it would be good to get some more info on these shuttle buses. As the festival only has 500 attendees(not including staff) and a number of these people will be arriving by car, I wouldn't imagine the buses to be running back and forth all day like other larger festivals. I could for example to Ockley at 6:30 on the Friday and there being no one else waiting for the shuttle bus at that time, and with no notices and no festival staff to advise, which would leave me a bit confused. So hope we can get some info posted about the times these buses run.

I've been going for two years and have never seen the shuttle bus, we've always had to get a cab from Ockley station, we've always arrived at around 6/7/8pm. This year we're getting there for when it opens on Friday, am still wondering if we'll see this elusive bus.........???

We have now finalised the shuttle bus arrangements, and the website has been updated with details here: http://www.firegathering.co.uk/information/location-travel.html

A free bus will provide a service between Ockley station and the festival for all trains arriving between 16:30 and 20:27 (the last one). After this you will need to travel to Dorking where the bus will be transporting people to the festival until 23:00. We have changed the service this year to use Dorking station instead of Three Bridges so that passengers can use the same Ockley train tickets for their return journeys.

To return on Sunday the bus will be making journeys to Dorking station between 14:00 and 23:00. The bus is paid for by those who choose to drive to the festival and pay the £10 car parking fee.
