    Just a trivial question. What was the weather like in the last few years of Firegathering?

    In 2006 it rained quite a bit, it didn't really matter though as the marquees had plenty of space for us all :)

    Last year was glorious! The sun beamed down on us all weekend!!

    And as for this year....It'll be amazingly sunny all weekend again ;)

    Hmm...weather doesn't look too promising for the weekend. It may be brill weather now, but at the weekend I've read forecasts of rain in the south, and storms.

    I just hope the site doesn't turn into a mud bath at least.

    The forecast changes everyday and It's not massively accurate beyond 48 hours. I find a "positive mental attitude" is the best approach :)

    At the risk of sounding a little boring ... while positivity has its benefits on the w/e, being as prepared as is practical for whatever weather comes our way might be slightly more useful!

    Oh dear, the BBC 5 day weather outlook for Horsham says that it is forecast to be heavy rain on the Saturday! Typical isn't it! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3224

    We'll still have a good festival, whatever the weather. But understandably, rain does put a dampener on things a little. If you pardon the pun!

    If it's gonna be pelting down with rain a lot, I'm going to be in that sauna and jacuzzi a fair bit. Indeed I think a fair number of other people will be too.

    Looks like I'll have to buy some wellington boots. Will there be a stall onsite selling these by any chance?

    The BBC forecast has now changed a little. It now says heavy rain on Friday, and dry and sunny on the Saturday and Sunday. Now that's a bit better.

    That's a lot better! Although Metcheck says it'll be cloudy till Monday :(

    Lets hope they've got it wrong......

    If it's cloudy all weekend that'll be ok. As long as it stays dry that's all I'm hoping for.

    Anyway, looks like we'll be ok. BBC forecast now changed again. Friday - Cloudy, Saturday & Sunday - Sunny intervals. And rain for Monday. But it doesn't matter too much if it's raining on the Monday.
